Select Available Nights

To select nights for your camping reservation, click on an active check-in date for the desired campsite. Then select the last night of your stay. Your reservation will be highlighted and your check-out date is indicated on the next date.

Use the Calendar or links to change the date range of the list.

Select Multiple Campsites

Using this view, you can select more than one campsite, as well as multiple check-in and check-out dates, on the same reservation. This allows you to assemble a longer reservation from more than one campsite - helpful during the busy season. You can also reserve multiple sites for your group to accommodate varying arrivals or departures.

Consecutive Nights Required

You may select any number of campsites and dates as long as your reservation is no longer than 14 nights and all dates are consecutive or overlap.

Reserving campsites with separate date ranges, such as over two different weekends with unreserved dates in between, requires making separate reservations. You can complete one reservation and use the Make Another Reservation button in the confirmation stage to easily make additional reservations.

Rates & Descriptions

The nightly rate for each campsite is displayed by date and individual site. Note that rates are subject to change based on availability and season.

The quoted rate for each night does not include taxes or the reservation fee.

You can view all available nights, up to 13 months ahead, of any campsite that is showing unavailable for your selected dates. Unavailable campsites are shown on the map or list as gray icons.

Show Available Dates

The description window of any unavailable campsite includes a large green button with "Show Available Dates". Use this button to reveal an interactive calendar that shows every available date for that campsite — allowing you to easily change your dates so you can reserve that favorite campsite.

This will also reset your selected dates so that you can select more than one campsite for the same dates.

Camping Reservation Policies

Camping Policy

All camping fees are paid in advance. A credit card and/or driver's license is required upon check-in. The following policies apply to campgrounds and camping areas at all Mississippi State Parks. Select General Regulations to review the complete rules and regulations for State Parks.

General Campground Rules

Camper Check-Out: 2:00pm / Check-In: 4:00pm
Cabin Check-Out: 11:00am / Check-In 2:00pm
Quiet time is between 10:00pm and 8:00am
No more than 8 people can occupy a campsite at a time
Reservation holder must be present throughout the stay
Campground areas are restricted to registered campers and their guests
Visiting guests are subject to entrance fees and must leave prior to 10:00pm
Vehicles, tents, children and pets shall not be left unattended
Campsites must be maintained to be free of clutter and trash
Parking trailers or extra vehicles, or the use of appliances is prohibited
Non-emergency servicing or washing of vehicles within the park is prohibited

IMPORTANT: Please Read

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a campsite. Reservation holders are responsible for all actions of their guests. Fees may be assessed for clean-up, loss replacement or damage repair to campsites or park facilities by guests.

Campsites require a camping unit (RV or set-up tent) on site. RV campers that use their recreation vehicle for day trips must make arrangements with park staff to hold their unoccupied site.

Gray water or sewage must be deposited in available dump stations or removed from the park. In no case is the discharge of gray water or sewage on the ground or campsite permitted, nor is the storage of gray water or sewage in containers not manufactured specifically for this purpose. Violations are subject to criminal charges, fines, and/or the cost of the clean-up.

Reservation Policies

Reservations are available for arrivals up to 13 months in advance. Some dates and facilities may have minimum stay requirements. Advance reservations incur a non-refundable $8.00 reservation fee.

No Show Rule: Reservations are held until 11:00 am the morning after the reserved arrival date, otherwise the site may be released for use by other campers. Important: For late arrivals, you must contact the park to hold your site, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled as a No Show, forfeiting all fees.

RV Campsite and Lodging reservations include fishing, boat launch and facilities use (where available) and are limited to the registered number of guests per site/unit. Visitors of Guests must pay for park entry and activities.

Cancellation & Change Policies

Reservations may be cancelled up to and including 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund – minus the $8.00 reservation fee.
Cancellations within 6 days, and before 3 days, prior to arrival forfeit 50% of the total reservation, plus the $8.00 reservation fee.
No shows and cancellations within 3 days of arrival forfeit all fees.
Changes to existing reservations incur additional fees.
